This capsule, a "trademark of Pearl", is used in all of our studio microphones exept ELM models. The capsule achieves a very flat and resonance
free frequency response which extends far into the low- as well as the high frequencies. The framework is made from POM and the electrodes are made from brass. The outside plates (gold plated) which hold the membranes are also made from brass. The membranes themselves are aluminium vapourized. The capacitance of each side is 90 pF at 80 volts polarization voltage.
